This design is based on my retelling of the Santa Claus legend, In this version St. Nicholas was a saint who was given the his spear which would later be known as the north pole, which keeps him alive forever by gathering the good will and happiness in the world, so that he can use this power to spread happiness to children each year. He also acts as the protector of these children against any threats including Nicholas's old former ally Krampus.
